Dear RHESSI Collaborators,

Solar activity is at low-to-moderate levels. NOAA region 12002 has grown in the past 24 hours, increasing in both spot area and number of spots. This region is now classified as a beta-gamma-delta/D-type sunspot group and was the source of 10 C-class and 4 M-class flares in the past 24 hours (the largest being an M1.1 flare on 10-Mar-2014 at 00:19 UT). Although the delta spot is small in NOAA 12002, this region still displays an east-west oriented magnetic inversion line. Further C-class activity is expected, with a good chance for more low M-class events in the next 24 hours.

The position of NOAA 12002 on 10-Mar-2014 at 11:30 UT is:

S19E45, ( -645", -231" )
