Dear RHESSI Collaborators,

The level of solar activity is moderate. NOAA 12002 has continued to grow over the past 24 hours, again increasing in spot area and number of spots. This region remains classified as a beta-gamma-delta/D-type sunspot group and was the source of an M1.7 flare since the last email (10-Mar-2014 at 15:21 UT). Although the largest flare over the past 24 hours was produced by NOAA 11996 (an M3.5 on 11-Mar-2014 at 03:44 UT), the target will remain as NOAA 12002 due to the evolving delta spot in its mixed-polarity intermediate spot portion. More C-class activity is expected over the next 24 hours, with a good chance for further M-class events.

The position of NOAA 12002 on 11-Mar-2014 at 12:30 UT is:

S19E30, ( -461", -213" )
