Dear RHESSI Collaborators,

Solar activity is at C-level, with the majority of events over the past 24 hours emanating from NOAA 11991, while NOAA 11990 was the source of a C3.1 flare at 09:00 UT today. NOAA 11990 is now classified as a beta-delta region, and has recently seen some negative polarity flux emerge into the penumbra of the positive leader spot. Major Flare Watch shall remain in effect for a further 24 hours with NOAA 11990 as the target region, but also include NOAA 11991 in your field of view if possible.

The position of NOAA 11990 on 27-Feb-2014 at 12:35 UT is:

S12E43, ( -648", -113" )

See http://www.SolarMonitor.org for images and http://solar.physics.montana.edu/max_millennium/ops/observing.shtml for a description of the current Max Millennium Observing Plan.
