Dear RHESSI Collaborators,

Solar activity remains elevated, although NOAA 11990 has failed to produce another major flaring event. We are therefore ending the current Major Flare Watch campaign. The new target region shall be NOAA 11991, a beta/D-type region in the southeast quadrant that has produced several C-class flares over the past 24 hours, as well as an M1.1 flare at 00:44 UT today. The region has shown signs of flux emergence and is likely to produce further low-to-intermediate level activity.

The position of NOAA 11991 on 28-Feb-2014 at 08:35 UT is:

S25E47, ( -643", -331" )

See http://www.SolarMonitor.org for images and http://solar.physics.montana.edu/max_millennium/ops/observing.shtml for a description of the current Max Millennium Observing Plan.
