Dear Collaborators,
Solar activity continues at low levels. The largest event since the last message was a B4.5 flare from NOAA 12827 at 08:12 UT today, while NOAA 12829 has continued to produce low B-class activity. The leading and trailing sunspots of NOAA 12829 have now merged and it shall remain the target region. Further low-level activity likely.
The position of NOAA 12829 on 4-Jun-2021 on 11:30 UT is:
S18E28, ( -423", -289" )
See http://www.SolarMonitor.org for images and http://solar.physics.montana.edu/max_millennium/ops/observing.shtml for a description of the current Max Millennium Observing Plan.
