Dear Collaborators,
The target region NOAA 12826 was the source of numerous B-class flares in the past 24 hours, the largest one being a B9.8 at 05/27/07:58 UT. 12826 had a beta/D-type configuration and is rotating over the west limb. We will watch this region for a further 24 hours. The other region with sunspots on the visible disk, NOAA 12824 (N20W57), produced two C-class flares in the past few hours, a C1.0 and a C7.6 (at 05/27/22:54 UT). 12824 was reclassified as a beta/D-type region. If possible, please also include 12824 in your field of view. Additional C-class activities are expected with a slight chance of a low M-class flare in the following 24 hours.
The position of NOAA 12826 on May 28 at 03:30 UT is:
N24W76 (839", 389")
