Subject: MM#009 Default HESSI Target Date: Mon, 5 May 2014 09:14:53 +0100 Dear RHESSI Collaborators, Solar activity remains at a low level. Yesterday's target region NOAA 12051 has continued to produce C-class activity, the largest of which was a C9.2 flare on 4-May-2014 at 12:22 UT. This region is still classified as a beta-gamma-delta/D-type sunspot group as it rotates towards the South West limb. More C-class activity is likely, with a slight chance for an isolated low M-class flare. The position of NOAA 12051 on 5-May-2014 at 08:30 UT is: S09W69, ( 877", -126" ) See http://www.SolarMonitor.org for images and http://solar.physics.montana.edu/max_millennium/ops/observing.shtml for a description of the current Max Millennium Observing Plan.
