Solar activity has continued at a moderate level. Most flares over the past 24 hours came from the vicinity of the target. These regions have been numbered as NOAA 13637 and NOAA 13638. 13637 shows a higher magnetic complexity and has been classified as a beta/C-type sunspot group. It produced two flares, with the largest one being an M4.3 flare at 02:24 UT today. 13638 (alpha/H-type) only produced two low-C flares. Both regions are experiencing the emergence of new magnetic fluxes. Today the Major Flare Watch region shall remain with NOAA 13637 and NOAA 13638 (S17E66, if possible). Further C-class activities are expected with additional low-M flare probable in the following 24-48 hours.
