Dear Collaborators,
Solar activity has decreased to a moderate level. The southeast region (still unnumbered) near the limb became the most productive and was a source of multiple flares, with the largest magnitude being an M2.4 flare at 4:58 UT today. This region is in proximity to multiple sunspots that show mixed polarities. Today the Major Flare Watch region will switch to the southeast limb from the northeast limb. Yesterday’s target (N30E86) only produced two low-C flares. Further C-class activities are expected with a chance of a >M5 flare in the next 24 hours.
