Subject: MM#009 Default HESSI Target Date: Tue, 28 Jan 2014 10:22:53 +0000 Dear RHESSI Collaborators, Solar activity has increased significantly. The new target region on the southeast limb has now been designated as NOAA 11967 and has produced five M-class flares since the last message, including an M4.9 at 22:05 UT yesterday. The region is still too close to the limb to ascertain its magnetic configuration but sustained C- and M-level activity is likely. The position of NOAA 11967 on 28-Jan-2014 at 08:35 UT is: S14E71, ( -894", -203" ) See http://www.SolarMonitor.org for images and http://solar.physics.montana.edu/max_millennium/ops/observing.shtml for a description of the current Max Millennium Observing Plan.
