Dear Collaborators,
Solar activity has slightly reduced since the last message. NOAA 13615 produced several flares, the largest being a partially occulted M9.4 at 21:01 UT yesterday. NOAA 13615 has almost passed out of view beyond the southwest limb. As NOAA 13615 continues to produce a substantial number of flares, it will remain the target region. The Major Flare Watch will continue while NOAA 13615 remains in partial view. Further C- and M-class activity is expected with a slight chance for an additional isolated >M5 event in the next 24 hours. The position of NOAA 13615 on 31-Mar-2024 at 11:30 UT is: S13W91, (935",-216") See http://www.SolarMonitor.org for images and http://solar.physics.montana.edu/max_millennium/ops/observing.shtml for a description of the current Max Millennium Observing Plan.
