Dear Collaborators,
Dear Collaborators, Solar flare activity continues at an extremely low level. Target region NOAA 2897 is mostly unchanged and quiescent since the last message. It is maintaining its magnetically simple H-type/alpha sunspot group. The return of old NOAA 2891 is located just beyond the northeastern limb at approximately N20 degrees. 2891 was somewhat active during its previous disk passage but it currently appears to be stable. We will switch the default target to old NOAA 2891 today. Only minor events expected in the next 24 hours. The approximate position of the target on Nov. 22 at 15:00 UT is: N20E89 (Solar X = -913", Solar Y = 332") See http://www.SolarMonitor.org for images and http://solar.physics.montana.edu/max_millennium/ops/observing.shtml for a description of the current Max Millennium Observing Plan.
