MM#009 Default Target
Dear Collaborators,
The leading sunspot in target region NOAA 2850 has decayed significantly. The trailing sunspots of the simple B-type/beta sunspot group are mostly unchanged. 2850 produced three A- and two B-class events since the last message. The largest event was a B5.9 at 08/04/03:29 UT. A- and B-class events possible in the next 24 hour period.
The position of NOAA 2850 on August 04 at 14:00 UT is: S32W50 (Solar X = 616", Solar Y = -554")
See http://www.SolarMonitor.org for images and http://solar.physics.montana.edu/max_millennium/ops/observing.shtml for a description of the current Max Millennium Observing Plan.
