Dear Collaborators,
The level of solar activity remains extremely low. The plage target region in the South East quadrant has continued to strengthen since the last message, maintaining several small pores from yesterday and developing new opposite-polarity pores. Please note that there was a mistake in the coordinates in yesterday's message (which should have been S22E40). This region has been the source of A-class activity in the past 24 hours. No change in flaring activity is expected over the following 24-hour period.
The approximate position of this region on 11-Apr-2021 at 17:00 UT is:
S22E26 , ( -391", -276" )
See http://www.SolarMonitor.org for images and http://solar.physics.montana.edu/max_millennium/ops/observing.shtml for a description of the current Max Millennium Observing Plan.
