The level of solar activity is extremely low. NOAA 12680 remains the only spotted region on disk and has decayed marginally over the past 24 hours, decreasing slightly in spot area. This region is again designated an alpha/H-type sunspot group classification. No flares have occurred since the last message. An isolated low B-class flare may be possible in the next 24 hours.
The position of NOAA 12680 on 19-Sep-2017 at 14:30 UT is:
N08W48, ( 705", 54" )
