Dear RHESSI Collaborators,

The level of solar activity is moderate-to-high. Yesterday's target NOAA region 12026 continued to increase in number of spots despite showing no increase in spot area. This region was reclassified as a beta-gamma/D-type sunspot group and was the source of 4 low C-class flares in the past 24 hours. NOAA 12027 has also produced 5 C-class flares as well as the largest flare event since yesterday's message, an M6.5 flare on 2-Apr-2014 at 13:18 UT. This region is classified as an alpha/H-type sunspot group, with extended following-polarity plage. Note that at this time we are *not* initiating a Major Flare Watch, because of the simplicity of this region's structure. More C-class activity is expected over the next 24 hours, with a chance for a low M-class flare.
