Dear RHESSI Collaborators,

The current level of solar activity is low. Yesterday's target continues to decay, and has not produced further significant activity. A new region on the East limb was responsible for several C-class flares, but its magnetic configuration cannot yet be determined. The largest event since the previous message was a C6.6 flare released by NOAA 11977 on 17-Feb-2014 at 03:04 UT. Some flux emergence is evident in the leading portion which is likely responsible for the enhanced activity. Further low C-class activity is expected with a chance of a high C-class event.

The position of NOAA 11977 on 17-Feb-2014 at 17:30 UT is: S10W12, ( 194", -55" )
