Subject: MM#009 Default HESSI Target
Date: Sun, 16 Feb 2014 17:42:00 +0000

Dear RHESSI Collaborators,

The current level of solar activity is moderate. The largest event since the previous message was an isolated, impulsive M1.1 flare, released by NOAA 11977 on 16-Feb-2014 at 09:26 UT. Yesterday's target (NOAA 11974) was responsible for C-class activity since the previous message, but still maintains the largest total spot area and the most complex magnetic configuration. Further C-class activity is expected with a chance for a low M-class event.

The position of NOAA 11974 on 15-Feb-2014 at 17:00 UT is: S12W62, ( 838", -147" )

See http://www.SolarMonitor.org for images and http://solar.physics.montana.edu/max_millennium/ops/observing.shtml for a description of the current Max Millennium Observing Plan.
