Dear RHESSI Collaborators,

Quiet-Sun conditions continue despite the presence of 12 numbered active regions on the visible hemisphere. The largest event since the last message was a C1.3 flare from NOAA 11955 at 18:57 UT yesterday. The target region, NOAA 11959, has begun to decay but retains its beta-gamma configuration. Slight chance for an isolated low-level event over the next 24 hours.

The position of NOAA 11959 on 23-Jan-2014 at 11:00 UT is:

S23E14, ( -217", -299" )

See http://www.SolarMonitor.org for images and http://solar.physics.montana.edu/max_millennium/ops/observing.shtml for a description of the current Max Millennium Observing Plan.
