Dear RHESSI Collaborators,

Solar activity has continued at a low level. A new spotted region has emerged to the East of NOAA region 11420 in the last 24 hours. This region has a simple beta magnetic class, but bright EUV loops from the leading spot connect to the trailing plage of NOAA 11420. This currently unnumbered region was the source of a C1.0 flare on 19-Feb-2012 at 08:41UT. B-class events are expected, with a chance for further C-class activity if the region continues to experience flux emergence.

The approximate position of this region on 19-Feb-2012 at 10:30 UT is:

N15E10, ( -165", 363" )

See http://www.SolarMonitor.org for images and http://solar.physics.montana.edu/max_millennium/ops/observing.shtml for a description of the current Max Millennium Observing Plan.
