MM#009 Default HESSI Target

Dear RHESSI Collaborators,

Target region NOAA 1356 continues in decay phase. The target will slightly change pointing to include NOAA 1360 located just to the east of 1356. 1356 is an E-type/beta-gamma region and 1360 is classified C-type/beta. This area has an interesting system of active region filaments. C-class events possible.

Note: The C4.9 event and associated filament eruption reported yesterday was an error in event detection software and was not a real event.

The position of NOAA 1356/1360 on November 27 at 08:00 UT is: N18W10 (Solar X = 161", Solar Y = 279")

See http://www.SolarMonitor.org for images and http://solar.physics.montana.edu/max_millennium/ops/observing.shtml for a description of the current Max Millennium Observing Plan.
